Hey there, furry friends and their humans! It's Astrid the dog here, sharing the latest on my summer shenanigans. Let me tell you, these summer days are HOT, and for some reason, my humans aren’t too keen on taking me camping right now. Billy, our trusty Jeep Gladiator, and I have been wondering why, but I guess it’s just too warm at night for a cozy sleep.
Dreams of the Mountains
I've overheard my humans talking about possibly venturing into the mountains of Tennessee. That sounds like a dream! Fresh air, cool breezes, and plenty of new smells to explore. But, my humans are busier than ever now that they’re retired. Go figure!
Pool Time Fun
While we wait for our mountain adventure, we’ve been spending most of our days upgrading Billy and hanging out by the pool. And let me tell you, the pool is pawsome! My humans love relaxing in the hot tub, and I love dropping my favorite squishy ball in there for them to throw. It’s the best game ever! I’ve become a pro at diving in to fetch it. Not only is it a blast, but it’s also the perfect way to cool off on these sweltering days.

Mischief in the Sunflower Bed
Sometimes, just for giggles, I push my ball into my humans' sunflower bed. Watching them react is hilarious, though they don’t always find it as amusing. Stomping on those flowers might be a bit naughty, but it’s all in good fun, right? Well, maybe not according to my humans.

Final Thoughts
So, here we are, enjoying our summer days, making the most of the heat, and dreaming of cooler mountain adventures. Until then, I’ll keep fetching my ball, splashing in the pool, and maybe causing a little harmless mischief in the garden.
