Hey there! Clicking these links could mean more adventures for us (and our travel fund).

Hey there! Astrid here, reporting back from my latest adventure – the second overlanding trip with my humans was an absolute blast! We set up camp at Cotton Hill Campground, nestled near Fort Gaines, GA, just a stone's throw away from the Alabama Border. And let me tell you, it was pawsitively delightful!

Uncharted Life

First off, let's talk about our primo spot – right smack dab by the lake! The serene waters were bustling with folks cruising around in their boats, trying to reel in the catch of the day. The gentle breeze rustled through my fur, creating a symphony of nature's melodies.

Plus, we lucked out with a spot conveniently close to the bathroom – a luxury for my humans, but for me, it meant playing watchdog against the parade of peculiar-looking passersby. A few well-timed growls from yours truly ensured they kept their distance, much to the chagrin of my humans. But hey, a pup's gotta protect her pack!

Now, let's talk about the highlight of the trip – hiking at Providence Canyon State Park, better known as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon." Oh boy, was it an adventure! The descent into the canyon was no walk in the bark

Uncharted Life

– it was steep, challenging, and oh-so-exhilarating! But fear not, I tackled it with the enthusiasm of a pup on a mission. Once we made it down, we embarked on a journey along the winding trails, exploring the vibrant hues of the canyon walls and marveling at the trickling streams along the path.

Overall, this trip was a doggone good time! From lakeside lounging at Cotton Hill Campground to conquering the rugged terrain of Providence Canyon State Park, it was a woof-tastic adventure from start to finish. Can't wait for our next escapade – until then, keep wagging those tails and exploring the great outdoors!
